Before using email-ext on a project, you must configure some global settings. Go to Jenkins System configuration page. Manage Jenkins -> Configure System

The section titled Extended E-mail Notification is where you can configure global email-ext properties. The properties here should match the settings for your smtp mail server. This section is set up to mirror Jenkins own email Publisher Reporter (It's different extension point), however there are a few additions. The inputs labeled Default Subject and Default Content, allow you to configure the email content on a global level. The input labeled Default Recipients can be used to set a default list of email addresses for all projects using plugin (it can be overridden at the project level). This can be used to greatly simplify the configuration you need to do for all projects.

This document will not cover the entire field. Also, as it is timebound to an an anlysis that is from a 2009 perspective - things will change. Companies will change names, new actors will appear. But still this piece of work is unique and will give a guide into the mechanisms behind the Net, mechanisms that will continue to act even in the future. And as many of these Jewish entrepreneurs are rather young and the Internet seems to be here to stay, we will hear from them for a long time onwards.

Electronic mail has several English spelling options that occasionally prove cause for vehement disagreement.[5][6]
email is the form required by IETF Requests for Comment and working groups[7] and increasingly by style guides.[8][9][10] This spelling also appears in most dictionaries.[11][12][13][14][15][16]
e-mail is a form previously recommended by some prominent journalistic and technical style guides. According to Corpus of Contemporary American English data, this is the form that appears most frequently in edited, published American English writing.[17]
mail was the form used in the original RFC. The service is referred to as mail and a single piece of electronic mail is called a message.[18][19][20]
eMail, capitalizing only the letter M, was common among ARPANET users and the early developers of Unix, CMS, AppleLink, eWorld, AOL, GEnie, and Hotmail.[citation needed]
EMail is a traditional form that has been used in RFCs for the "Author's Address",[19][20] and is expressly required "for historical reasons".[21]
E-mail is sometimes used, capitalizing the initial letter E as in similar abbreviations like E-piano, E-guitar, A-bomb, H-bomb, and C-section.[22]
There is also some variety in the plural form of the term. In US English email is used as a mass noun (like the term mail for items sent through the postal system), but in British English it is more commonly used as a count noun with the plural emails
