Oftentimes, we’re hesitant to fork over our email address because of all the noise. Give prospects and readers some expectations of what they’ll receive if they subscribe to your email newsletter. How often will they receive it? Do you share their email address with other partners? Who will the email come from? If you can, provide a sample newsletter (screenshot or direct link) so that they become familiar with the format and can make an informed decision as to whether it would benefit them. This makes them more likely to open your email each time it shows up in their inbox.
